Congrats Erich and Molly Krieg!!

On Saturday our friends Erich and Molly were married! The wedding, reception and dance were at Jax Cafe in Minneapolis. What a truly beautiful day! The bride and groom looked gorgeous and SO happy! Congrats again!

Quiet Friday Night At Home...

Mario and I had nothing going on, on Friday so we decided to cook at home. We had King Crab Legs... first time I had ever tried to make them at home (since they are pre-cooked can I really count that as 'making them') and first time I had actually eaten them. I know, I know.....how can I be 31 and never have eaten King Crab Legs?!?! They were pretty good... Not sure if I like having to work that much for my food.. If you order them at some fancy schmancy place, do they take the meat out for you???? :)

This albino squirrel has been hanging around our house for about 3 years now. Two summers ago we had a bbq bash in our back yard. A collaborative effort resulted in his name...Midnight Snowball Torii Hunter. He is the BEST! Now if I could just get him to eat out of my hand... haha!

Oddly enough after much thought and consideration (yeah, basically I have no life)... I completely agree with Dick being the winner of Big Brother 8 (out of the 2 choices I had). Although his tactics were ruthless and mean...I probably would never have tuned in again if his whiny, sneaky, irritating daughter Daniele won. Yes, she was a tough competitor in challenges...however, UGH... ANNOYING. Congrats Dick.. I hope you piss the $500,000 away on booze and hookers on your round the world vacation! Cheers!

Big Brother....

Ok, I just watched Big Brother this morning (from last nights taping) and I am so grossly disappointed with the final two that I don't even think that I can stand to watch the finale!!! What the H??????

Finally an update!!!

Boy...not much has been happening in the world of the Morelli's.. Work, bed by 8:30 and the occasional reality show is about the jist of it! Oh yes and FOOTBALL IS BACK! So last night I bucked up and headed out for a night at Mainstreet. Mario figured I would be
home by 9:00 but I think that I made it out until 11:00ish! Mainstreet has been my hang out now for the past year or so. Good thing it is 12 blocks from home :) This is our normal crew (minus Joe).. Danni Lynn (that is what we call her and she doesn't particularly care for it, but we think it is cute. Her real name is Danielle), Eryn, Con Con and me!
Con Con, Helen (newbie for the evening), Joe and Tony... We are all Realtors and we need some means of blowing off steam. Beers, Ciggies, Pull-Tabs, Meat Raffle and Bingo (Mingo as they call it), usually does it for us.
The have an awesome Juke Box at Mainstreet and we often break into song!

More Hopkins Fun... different night!

So did you know you could basically play roulette w/o having to go to the casino??? At The Tav On Main they have the Tri-Wheel, which is pretty much roulette with the wheel on the wall, instead. Pick your numbers, spin the wheel....37-1 odds! We always have a winner in the bunch. We don't ALWAYS win but the money seems to last a lot longer than when playing pull tabs!!!

Ok, so this particular night we won quite a bit of money!! It is always fun when you pull a couple of $500's!! Oh and yes... you used to be able to smoke at Mainstreet and the Tav On Main....even with the smoking ban! Apparently Hopkins folk like their booze a LOT more than their food so we were good to go. As of August 1st they decided to take an early pass and go smoke free...darn it!

Congrats to Julie and Dan who were married on Saturday! It was an absolutely perfect day... the wedding was gorgeous and the reception was loads of fun! On Monday the happy new bride/groom are off on an 11 day honeymoon to Italy...cuz that's how they roll~!!! Congrats again and have a fabulous, safe time in Italy! Mario says "eat lots of gelato"...

Low lights... my camera battery died (thus not many photos) and Mario was sick with West Nile Virus (so he thought at the time) and didn't make it. I was single :(
